One of the things that irked me reading message board comments on the World Cup has been one person's view of Spain as being overrated.
His reasoning was due to his belief that they 'have a poor coach' which is a nonsense.
Vincente Del Bosque has a wealth of titles to his name most notably two Champions League wins as Real Madrid manager.
As for his current team - Spain were undefeated in all of the qualifiers for this year's tournament.
It's puzzling how this professional gambler discounted the history of the coach as well as how successful the team has performed.
I'm not saying they'll win the World Cup, I just feel they were marked down a lot by this person.
Anyway, he's probably kicking himself now after they qualified to the next round after yesterday's victory over Chile.
That's good enough retribution for me.
