I received a horse racing booklet from Stan James Bookmakers in yesterday's mail so had a look through it last night.
Whilst doing so, a name popped out at me that had to be bet on during next week's Cheltenham Festival.
As I have written on here in the past and anyone that has known me for more than a few days will be aware, Carlito's Way - the 1993 film starring Al Pacino - is my favourite movie of all time.
It cannot be beat.
Well, on Friday I will be hoping another Carlito won't be beat as there is a horse running named after the title character of the movie.
Carlito Brigante runs in the first race on Friday. Don't ask me the exact race because the amount of stuff I know about horse racing can fit on a postage stamp and there would still be enough room for a sonnet.
Or two.
I have £27 of the fifty that I won in the football tipping contest so will be using this on the races from Tuesday to Friday.
What better way to waste free money?
