After everything that happened this past Christmas, we're having a second take today.
I don't know if we've got any Christmas crackers or whether my nephew will be wearing the baby Santa Claus outfit that he wore on Christmas Day but we're going to have the dinner and that's good enough for me.
A friend of the family and her partner was a relatively famous TV presenter back in the early-nineties and - as they were both working in pantomime during the Christmas period - they would have their Christmas together in late January and my father would get me to send over a card before school.
Back then, I thought it was weird that they would do something like that (even though I played along by delivering the card).
It's not so weird from where I sit today.
