The Order Is In

The new Super Mario Bros game is coming out on the Wii in a few weeks and I've preordered a copy.

It looks like a throwback to the earlier Mario games with a side scrolling screen rather than the modern versions of the games which adopted 3D graphics.

The controls are also nostalgic as you use the Wii remote in the manner that was expected on the first Nintendo console - two buttons and the directional pad.

One of the other things I like the look of with the new game is the ability to have up to four players in simultaneous play. As most will recall, the other Mario games were two players but there was never the opportunity to play the levels at the same time.

The best price I found is on the HMV'website where it is £32.99 until this coming Monday. Then, it will revert back to its regular price of £34.99. I know it's only a £2 saving but it's a saving nonetheless!
