The Return Of The Prodigal Son (And I Can't See!)

It's after twelve on Tuesday morning when this post will be published so it will only be a few hours before Brett Favre faces his former team - and rivals to his current employers, the Minnesota Vikings - the Green Bay Packers.

The most annoying thing about the entire thing is I cannot see it.

The Monday Night Football rights were not picked up in this country so I won't be watching what will surely end up being the most watched regular season game in history.

That's not hype, folks. I'm confident this game will end up breaking television records in the USA.

Favre left the Packers in 2008 and played one season at the New York Jets before joining the Vikings this year.

To convey how big Favre playing for the Packers' rivals is I would say it would be similar to Alan Shearer joining Sunderland after leaving Newcastle United.

There will be fireworks.
