Michaels' Absence

The absence of Shawn Michaels on last night's edition of WWE Raw was brilliant.

I don't know if it was a shoot reason but Michaels had to remain at home due to his daughter being sick. WWE made up for the nonappearance by having him featured in numerous skits via a telephone alongside a cardboard cut-out.

Yes, it was a lame cover-up for the absent wrestler but I think it worked well for one night only.

I laughed more for these skits than I have for any of the recent D-Generation X stuff. However, that isn't saying much.
