After weeks and months of speculation, Linda McMahon - wife of Vince - has resigned from her job as CEO of World Wrestling Entertainment in order to run for US Senate.
This is no wrasslin' angle, folks.
It will make quite the story if this attempt was successful.
I think her association - even though she has 'resigned' - with WWE will work against her, though.
You know what, I wouldn't be surprised if this was the reason why WWE has made an attempt over the past year to tone down their product in an attempt to bring in more of a family audience.
If Linda fails and we see blood back on the TV, we'll know for sure.
