It's a little over three weeks before the NFL regular season kicks off and there is still no word on TV in the UK.
I've had email contact with Sky viewer relations and have been constantly visiting the NFLUK.com message board.
Neither has helped, in fact they have made matters worse.
The NFL UK message board has a post from one of the main people on the site where he relayed a message from the person in charge of UK operations - Alister Kirkwood - where he, to make things simple to you, announced that there was no current announcement.
This has prompted over ninety pages of speculation on whether NFL games will air on Sky, ESPN, Channel Five or the BBC.
My communication with Sky has also been somewhat comical.
I received an email from a woman at the viewer relations department a number of days after I sent a query. She 'confirmed' to me that the kick-off game between Pittsburgh and Tennessee will be aired live on Sky Sports 2.
I emailed her back asking whether this information is accurate and quoted the announcement from Alister Kirkwood.
A week later, she finally returned my question saying that the information she had given me in the earlier email was inaccurate and no deal had been signed between Sky and the NFL.
So, I knew more about a Sky issue than someone who is actually employed by them.
I've now vowed to stay away from the NFL UK site as well as refrain from emailing any more questions to Sky. I'm at a stage now where I am tired of waiting and will just worry about it on September 10th.
If nothing has been resolved by then, I'll resort to watching games by other means.
