Michael Jackson

Another legend.

It hasn't been confirmed yet but it appears that Michael Jackson has died following a cardiac arrest.

I last wrote about him a few months ago when it was announced that he was going to perform at the O2 Arena in London. In my mind, I had this feeling he wouldn't fulfill all those dates - I didn't think it would be because of this, though!

I first started liking Jackson when the Thriller video came out. My love of his music was multiplied with the Bad album was released in '87 or '88. I even had a Michael Jackson duvet and pillow set!

My appreciation of his music whithered with the release of Dangerous but I jumped back aboard the bandwagon when Invincible came out in 2001. That album wasn't in the same league as Bad or Thriller but there were a few tracks I liked.

Back in my childhood, Bad was my favourite Michael Jackson album but as I have grown up, Thriller has taken its place.

I bought the 25th Anniversary edition of it last year and I think I'll have a listen to it when I wake up.
