In Saturday's post, I argued about why they shouldn't remake the Teen Wolf movie. Tonight, I am going to mention a film I think would be amazing if it were to be given a 21st Century face-lift and that would be Tron.
I remember seeing this film when I was really young. My Uncle owned a video shop and he let me loan it one night when I was three or four.
I watched it again in the late 1980's whilst staying with other family members in Germany and haven't seen it since.
It's been over twenty years since but the effects are still playing in my mind as I type this. Now that I am thirty, all I can remember from the film is blue.
Blue!
I don't know what happened in the film. I forgot the plot and how it begins and ends all I remember is they are inside a computer and everything is blue.
It can work in the 2000's. The movie industry has developed for the better and I think that Tron should be redone with all the contemporary computerised graphics that were unavailable when the movie was first launched.
Let the kids of today, the adults of tomorrow, remember all the animation and great effects rather than one colour.
