The Missing Picture

While looking through a number of sport news websites yesterday, I found a picture of Alan Shearer pulling one of the most anguished faces I had ever seen him do.

I thought to myself that this picture would be a good addition to today's post with the title being - A picture which says a thousand Words.

I returned to those sites this morning to save the picture but I couldn't find them. I even went into my browser history in an attempt to find the page but that drew a blank as well.

A missing picture is the least of my worries.

Next season is going to be a tough one for me as both my favourite teams are in the same league. Am I now meant to forget about Newcastle for a season or do I still support them both? My friends that support Cardiff and Manchester United (or Liverpool, or Spurs) would never find themselves in situations like this.

All I can say is - Newcastle will go right back up. I know there's going to be a major cull taking place up there over the next two months and the team we saw this season will be totally different, I just have a feeling the 2009/10 season will be theirs for the taking.

I had originally pegged Ipswich Town to be the winner of the Coca-Cola Championship but have changed this mindset now that Newcastle's fate has been sealed.

It sure is going to be interesting if Shearer stays and he must face Roy Keane in a battle of the managers. Their on-field rivalry was legendary, I bet their managerial conflict will be just as entertaining.
