Draws, Losers & Certs

So, that's it for the Champions' League until later this year.

As you probably realised yesterday - I wasn't sure which team would walk out as winners and made the safe decision to back the draw.

'Back' would be the wrong word to use as I didn't bet on it. I just didn't have a confident feel about the game so stayed away from it other than suggesting it would be a draw.

I've been watching Britain's Got Talent and I have a feeling on that. I won't end up betting on that either but I sense that Susan Boyle won't win.

Don't get me wrong, she is great. I just feel that there will be something in the final that will pip her to the post, if you will.

The media has done well and has built her into an immovable object and I have this feeling - the feeling that was missing in last night's final - that she will come second on Saturday night.

I read last night that someone has placed seven thousand pounds on Boyle to win at odds of 4/7. Whoever placed that bet hadn't done a good job of shopping around as I found slightly better odds than that.

If you're going to bet a ridiculous sum like that it's best to take advantage of odds that give out better returns.

So, who will win on Saturday?

I have a feeling it will be Aidan Davis (7/1) or Shaheen Jafargholi (6/1). Either one of these two lads could be the one to take the victory in this supposed 'one horse race'.
