I'd also like to make mention of a mistake I made when placing the bet on Saturday morning. I had originally penciled in the Hull vs Newcastle game to go over two goals but - when I checked my selections in the evening - it was apparent that I had accidentally added the Everton vs Stoke game to the slip.
As luck would have it, the Newcastle game lost and the Everton game won. As I am recording the games I have actually placed a bet on, the Everton game stands although I admit I fluked out on that one.
As for the basketball - BIG MISTAKE!
