A Prepared Statement

Sorry, Rafa. We don't care about your status at Liverpool. It's all about me today.

As you are all aware - I have been playing in a fantasy football league for probably four years or so now and have always been competitive despite not being any good at it.

My rival - Turbo Chef - has constantly bashed me as he has beaten me in every single contest we have entered.

The fact that we were neck-and-neck for a majority of these seasons speaks volumes for how good - Sorry, I mean bad - he really is. We were mid-table and fighting for bragging rights between each other whilst the better managers were attempting to win the entire league.

Before the current season began, I made a vow. I said that if I failed to be in a better position than him this season I would retire for one season.

In November, realising that I was facing an uphill struggle - I resigned. I conceded.

I refused to log back in to change my team and promised to return for the 2010/11 season but I couldn't resist but look at how things were going so I returned to the site last night and the message board was quiet.

It was silent because there was no jive talking and bragging being done because I was not around. I cannot let the league suffer for all of the 2009/10 season so I am throwing my hat back into the ring.

I ain't gonna retire!

I'll be back and I'm coming for you all next season.
