The Final Four

The road to this year's Super Bowl is nearing its dead-end.

And 'dead-end' could be the operative word.

In the AFC Championship game this coming weekend, the Baltimore Ravens will face-off against the Pittsburgh Steelers in a game that guarantees a defensive battle.

Over in the NFC, Philadelphia opposes the Arizona Cardinals to win their conference and secure the place in the 'Greatest Show on Turf'.

To be honest with you, I hate the possible match-ups for the game in February. I'll go out on a limb, though, and predict the Super Bowl will be contested between Baltimore and Philly.

Joe Flacco, the Baltimore quarterback, will become the first rookie quarterback to make it to the Super Bowl.

But, he won't win.

I prefer the feel-good story of the rookie winning the thing but Philadelphia are the likely winners if an NFC side is going to victor this season.

Pittsburgh are the better team out of the final four but I feel fortune will favour the Ravens on Sunday night.

As I write this, I have had visions of a Pittsburgh and Arizona Super Bowl.

Scary thought, huh?
