Let's Just Say

I'd like to add a little more to the Terri Runnels scam I mentioned the other day.

Let's just say this competition did get to the stage where it can be contested. To do this, five thousand people must enter and pay two hundred dollars.

Two hundred multiplied by five thousand is one million.

Let's just say that the property is valued at $500,000. We can only assume this figure because the actual price of the house is conspicuous by its absence in the write-up on the website. That's half of the million accounted for. There is also a sum of $100,000 which is also awarded to the winner. What becomes of the remaining $400,000?

What is also humourous about the competition is they urge the winner to use the $100,000 they are given in making this world a better place. So, do they even get their hands on this cash or do the organisers make use of the money on their behalf?

Will the $400,000 left over be given to make the world a better place?

All these calculations and observations were left out of Wedneday's post because I just cannot see that five thousand people would take part in this, anyway. The real problem is with them making twenty dollars from every writer that does enter a competition that doesn't end up taking place.

The organisers walk away with something either way.
