All The Info

I promised you 'all the info'.

Here was what I had been planning since earlier this week.

I was online late on Monday night and was looking through the help pages on the Blogger site. I was trying to work how to do a few things I hadn't been able to do on here before and while looking through the help topics I came across a question regarding linking a blog to a domain name.

It took me less than a minute to head off to a domain registration site and then nearly two hours to decide whether I should buy one, actually buy one and then figure out how to link the domain up with the Blogger site.

I decided to go the cheaper route and buy a .Info because I couldn't get equinoxx.com or equinoxx.net because they were already taken so I am settling for this one.

I originally intended to make the change right away but I thought it would be an opportune time to give the blog a face-lift so I've changed the template and produced my own banner to give a fresh look.

I'm not so sure about this current layout, though. It may take a while to get used to.

When I did the design to the banner, the first thing it reminded me of was the header of wrestling fanzines from the 1990's. It was the rise of the Internet that killed off these underground publications so my design is an ironic tribute to 'the sheets'.

As I have mentioned in previous posts - this is just the first announcement I will be making. There is an even bigger revelation just around the corner.
