From the moment I read that it was being made, I couldn't wait to see Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.
I saw it yesterday and am remaining open-minded about it.
There has been a lot of bad reviews for it, although I didn't read them in fear of the plot being spoiled. Knowing there was criticism for it,I knew I had to go in and look at it from a fans' eye and nothing more.
And that's really what it's all about.
If you are a fan of the films, I think you will walk away pleased that the character made a return long after signs of a fourth movie became remote. People should be thankful there was even another installment.
One of the things I was grateful for was they didn't go gun-ho with the computer effects. I felt the recent prequels of Star Wars had far too many computer-aided scenes and it made the original trilogy look more dated than it had been.
I'm not saying this film was better than the previous three, I'm just saying it was good and it was great to see Indy back even if it was less than twenty years later than it should have been.
