Backlash From Backlash

Here are a few notes and observations from last night's Backlash pay-per-view

- I was starting to get tired with a little over an hour to go so went to bed and watched the rest of it this morning.

- Going in to the event, I saw it as a one match show. I wasn't interested in anything other than the Batista v Shawn Michaels match. I thought that match was good although I thought the two title matches were a little bit better.

- The Shawn Michaels leg injury was done in a way that not even I could tell whether it was legit or not!

- Mick Foley as color commentator of Smackdown will be interesting. He did a good job last night in his initial outing. What the hell was he wearing, though!?

- Big Show vs Great Khali was like watching King Kong against Godzilla in one of those black-and-white monster movies.

- Or were those movies in colour?

- I liked Randy Orton as WWE champion. I hope they go with him again in the near future. He plays the cocky heel role well. The reason why is simple - he's a prick in real-life. Allegedly.

- Will Triple H keep the spinning belt or will they now revert back to the regular looking one?

- Wow, I never brought Mick Adamle and how he got the ref's name confused.

- 3 weeks until Judgment Day.

- Why does the WWE take the 'E' out of 'Judgement' anyway?
