I don't watch as much TV as I used to but I have become a fan of a new drama series that has started on Virgin One.
It is called Terminator : The Sarah Connor Chronicles and it is a spin-off from the Terminator movies.
It seems to be based around the time where the second movie ended and somewhere before the third part of the story because the character of Sarah Connor isn't alive during the events of film three.
The writers did a good job of explaining why Connor manages to be alive and well in 2007 by having the first episode start in 1999 and then having her, John and the protector travel forward in time eight years to escape the Terminator.
I've seen the first two episodes so far and am hoping the remaining ten episodes are just as good. I do have the tendency to enjoy programmes that only last one series, though!
