Halloween Night

I was in the Halloween spirit yesterday, I had carved up a pumpkin with Josh and was ready to spend the evening having our own Halloween party.

That was until he got offered the opportunity to head home for the night so he could go trick-or-treating with his friends.

But I had an invite, too.

I was offered the chance to take part in a freeroll on Virgin Poker. A person I know from an online forum who works for Virgin was having trouble filling up a tournament and asked us to take part.

I know I had said I wasn't going to play until the end of the week but this was free and the first prize of one hundred thousand Virgin air miles was too good to turn down.

The evening didn't last long, though. I was eliminated three quarters into the first hour when my flush was beaten by a full house.

Back to my self-imposed exile.
