Ole

I think it's only appropriate to mention Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in today's post.

I'm not a Manchester United fan - as you are all aware - but I am a football fan and it was sad to hear that he had to retire after a knee injury hadn't fully recovered.

The Norwegian player made football matches exciting. I cannot remember how many games I saw him come on as a substitute in the latter moments and scored the winning goal.

His most successful moment will have to be that time he scored the decisive goal the Champion's League final against Bayern Munich in 1999.
