The Ignorance Of Being Geraldo

The Benoit tragedies has been one of the main headline topics on the news and there are so many angles that the media are working on with these deaths.

One of the most ridiculous stories coming out of the tragedy was made by Geraldo Rivera. This sorry excuse of a reporter claimed that the death of Sherri Martel was part of it as well and that Kevin Sullivan was somehow involved.

The celebrity journalist found that Sherri had died and was once associated with Nancy Benoit's ex-husband Kevin Sullivan and made the asinine comment on a live news station in the US.

He even went so far with his conspiracy theory by announcing that Sherri had died on the same day as Nancy. As we are aware - Sherri died a week earlier in a different part of America.

The reporter was sued by the WWF in the early nineties. He obviously has an axe to grind with the industry and is finding these deaths an easy way to promote himself.

The big problem with these 'revelations' is that some people out there will take his word on it and believe them to be accurate.

A good journalist knows how to present their facts and use them efficiently. Rivera is just a joke.
