Keeping Up With The 21st Century

I vowed never to jump on the Ipod bandwagon. But I have.

Ever since 2001 I have been happy with my Sony Minidisc player. Late last year the thing started breaking on me and I had to decide. Ipod or Minidisc?

I wanted a new Minidisc. I had the discs and I also had a Sony Hi-Fi which played them so it was an easy choice.

Or so I thought!

Minidiscs are as dead as the dodo.

I keep searching through online sites because I needed to take a walkman of some kind with me to London to pass the time on the way across.

The lack of FA Cup tickets made my search even easier. I decided not to bother hunting for a Minidisc player.

I bought an Ipod instead!

It is the most amazing walkman I ever had. I am glad I made the change. Almost eighty percent of my album collection is already on there and I still have 70GB of free space!

I have used it to listen to whilst playing poker this week. It has been a good sidekick. I have finished in the money in the last few games I have played in.

I still have the odccasional emper tantrums when I get beat at poker. Now I have the Ipod. I really am becoming Phil Hellmuth.
