I bought myself the fifth and final season of 21 Jumpstreet on DVD just before Christmas and have started watching them over the festive period.
I was unable to catch all of these episodes when they first aired on British television in 1992 because Sky had started repeating the earlier stories and I had given up watching them as I had seen them before. Then, one Sunday evening, I switched on Sky One and noticed that there were newer episodes with new cast members albeit without Johnny Depp and Dustin Nguyen.
I watched an episode or two and gave up. I am feeling like doing the same with this DVD box-set.
The stories started getting a little desperate back in season four but this time they are even worse. I am not surprsed why this show didn't return for a sixth series. The people must have been turned off.
Still, it was a big part of my childhood and so the whole collection of DVD's will remain on my shelf until I feel like a dose of nostalgia.
