I have a little black book that I use to keep account of how much I make in tips. I've been recording how much I make ever since I started working there after leaving university.
The other day I looked back at last year's book to see how I am faring now as compared to then and noticed that I was £106.80 short of equaling it.
Last year was possibly the record breaking year for how much I earned in tips due to me having worked more hours in that annual year than the previous ones.
I have now pulled in to being £20.70 short of last year's total and, with another sixteen days left in the year, it's looking like I am going to beat it.
I am not working until Monday so I am predicting that Tuesday will be the record breaking shift.
