Everyone's Done It

I have worked in the same job for nine, nearly ten, years and while working today I did something that I was glad I had never done before.

I dropped a load of drinks over a customer!

The problem happened when I was attempting to carry food and a tray of drinks at the same time. I lost my balance and the drinks went all over my customer.

He took it in his stride but I was totally embarassed.

My manager and other colleagues told me that everyone has done it but after nearly a decade of doing the job I thought I was beyond making a schoolboy error.

The moral of the story is to never think you can do everything at once desite how sure you know you can do it.

Nine years was a good run, though.
