23 Hours

I didn't qualify for the Friday night super satellite to the Cardiff Classic after all those attempts.

In tonight's game I came fifth out of twenty-one players. The first two won the $105 entry to tomorrow night.

I now have a big decision to make. Do I leave it until the next Cardiff event later in the year and attempt, once again, to qualify through the feeders or do I pay the $105 and try and win a seat tomorrow night?

It is usual for at least the top three players to get a seat in the Grosvenor festivals so I don't really have to win but make sure I play a tight game and not fall into traps ultimately hoping to end up in the upper echelon of the leader board.

I have less than twenty three hours to decide. It has been my goal for a few months now to do this so I am swaying towards paying the £50 to play. Hell, I won that bet last night and if either France or Italy had failed to get to the final I wouldn't have had the money in the first place. Yet - saying that, paying £50 for a game of poker is a bit crazy.

I guess this time tomorrow we will know the answer.
