I learnt tonight that beer and poker is not a good combination.
I didn't lose much as I only played in the $3 Ladders games at Ladbrokes.
The plan was to see how my play differed from my regular play and I noticed that I was playing a lot more hands and doing silly re-raises when I shouldn't have.
Don't get me wrong - I did have moments of brilliance but I guess it was more luck than skill.
It will be water during the games in future.
