A New Leap

I've recently found out that NBC has given the green light to a reboot of Quantum Leap by ordering a pilot.

The original series, which started in 1990, ran for five seasons and was one of my favourites back during my childhood.

It was a time travelling science fiction programme which saw a traveller - Sam Beckett - jump into different bodies each week in order to alter time for that particular person.

 I last watched an episode a little over a year ago. It was one which saw Sam travel to the territory days of pro wrestling. Unsurprisingly, I've seen that particular episode the most.

As for the new series - I am intrigued. New technology could make the special effects appealing. With that said, I doubt it'll be deemed as superior to the original in any other way.
