Football's Crazy 24+ Hours

I don't really follow football as much as I used to, but - even with the American football and WWE being my main focus when it comes to my interest in 'sport' - the last day and a bit of news has been quite crazy.

This talk of there being a Super League containing some of the biggest clubs in European football is bonkers. 

It looks like it could very well happen, which is - and I repeat - crazy.

The league will blow up the entire landscape of European football and I don't really know if it's a good thing at all.

With that said, I am intrigued to see how it'll play out. 

If it plays out.

I don't know if it's related, but Jose Mourinho leaving Tottenham Hotspur yesterday was also a big football story.

I have always said that he has a two year shelf-life wherever he goes. I count eighteen months. Ironically, he leaves six days before Spurs competes against Manchester City in the final of the League Cup.
