Picking The Super Bowl LV Winner

We're almost there. One more day to go.

I have to admit, well - I don't really have to admit it because I have aired my concerns when the NFL's 2020 season started, I did not think the Super Bowl would happen on the day that was originally planned. But - here we are.

As of the time of writing, there are TONS of betting opportunities for the game. However, I am going to do the obvious and share what my spreadsheet has projected in regards to the pointspread and totals.

With this being the Super Bowl, the spreadsheet usually calculates the winner on a neutral ground. However, seeing as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are playing at their home venue of Raymond James Stadium, the spreadsheet will give the Bucs a field goal advantage.

It doesn't matter, though. The spreadsheet had the Bucs to beat the Chiefs by 2 on the level playing field. The advantage rule now has the team to do so by five.

With the Bucs the betting underdogs, that means the spreadsheet is recommending a play on Tampa Bay +3.5 (the line as of the time of writing).

As for the total number of points - well, it predicts that there will be fifty-seven. This is only one-point above the current line of fifty-six, so I am going to tread carefully on that one.

I hope to write more about the game tomorrow. I just wanted to get the picks out there beforehand.
