James Mangold - who has directed movies like Walk The Line, 3:10 To Yuma and the last couple of Wolverine films starring Hugh Jackman - will be the man responsible for putting the intrepid adventurer back on the silver screen.
The article also notes that Steven Spielberg - who has directed the four previous Indy films - will be involved as a producer.
What was also interesting to read is the fact that, as of right now, the movie is in the early scripting stage. Therefore. it's unlikely that shooting will begin over the summer as was reported at the start of the year.
With that said, I suppose a lot of plans have changed due to the pandemic.
It sure does look like a project that's being worked on despite all the hurdles that are likely in its way right now.
