Boba Fett Announced For Mandalorian Season II

I finally got around to watching the final episode of the first season of The Mandalorian on Friday night.

As coincidences go, here's something surprising that happened immediately after I watched the ep.

I phoned up my nephew to tell him I had seen it. We briefly spoke about how enjoyable it was and then - once I was done - I logged onto Twitter to find news stories about season two.

It was welcome news at that.

Boba Fett has been announced for the new season.

Fett, who also wears Mandalorian armour, was a bounty hunter that made his on-screen debut in The Empire Strikes Back in 1980. He apparently met his demise in the follow-up movie, Return of the Jedi.

He is my favourite Star Wars villain, so I am really intrigued to see him in the series.

Interestingly, the character will be played by Temuera Morrison, who was Boba Fett's father - Jango Fett - in the prequel movie, Attack of the Clones, in 2002.

As for my opinion of the first season - I loved it. I was looking forward to upcoming seasons, but am even more hyped knowing that Boba Fett will be in it.

To show how much Boba Fett is one of my favourites from Star Wars, take a look at two of my key rings. One is of Andrew Luck (former Colts quarterback) and the other is of Boba Fett. Both look like they've been through some battles, don't they?
