Betting On 18 Again

I did something the other day that I didn't think I would have ever done again.

I placed a bet on Peyton Manning.

Kind of.

A week from today, Manning - alongside Tiger Woods - will take on Phil Mickelson and Tom Brady in a charity golf game.

It isn't the first time I've backed Manning against Brady. It is - however - the first time I've bet on the former Indianapolis Colt and Denver Bronco in a sport other than American football.

Manning and Woods were 4/9 favourites when I struck my bet. I only bet a small amount for fun.

Last time I had a gamble on Manning, I backed him to be the Super Bowl 50 MVP. Despite his team winning the big one, he was not given the honour of being the most valuable player in that game. 

The event is named 'The Match: Champions For Charity' and is being played somewhere in Florida. It starts at 3PM Eastern, so that will be 8PM BST. 

I hope a channel over here picks it up.
