Good Idea, But Still Stingie

Here's a new £1 scratchcard that has been released by the National Lottery for the upcoming New Year celebrations.

It's called 2020 Happy New Year!

Notice what the highest amount you can win is? Yes, it's £2,020. It's a cool idea considering the figure plays into the year 2020.

However, I do have some reservations about this card despite how much I like the idea of celebrating the introduction of the new decade.

£2,020 is a cheap prize amount considering there are £1 cards out there that range from £5,000 to £100,000.

What makes it even more stingie - in my mind - is the fact that there are only FIVE jackpots available.

In contrast - the £10,000 Match 3 Tripler has 6 top prizes and the £100,000 cards have eight!

They should have done at least ten top prizes for this one. Or what about 20, just to play into the 2020 theme? Or.. what about 2,020 top prizes?!
