When I published a 'Scratchin' 2018' update last week, I was £139 down in my year-long experiment to play at least one scratch card a day from January to December.
As of right now, I am at -£140. This obviously means there have been winners this week.
On Wednesday, I doubled my money on a £2 Blue scratchie. I followed that up on Friday with £2 under a £1 Royal 7s and then - this morning - I broke even on a £1 Magenta.
If you read yesterday's post, you'll be aware that I purchased a National Lottery Advent Calendar. I'll play this in conjunction with other cards for the twenty-four days at the start of December and then apply the £5 loss (or hopefully wins) on Christmas Day.
