From Bloggers' Block To Starrcade

I've just realised that I haven't published a post over here today and I don't have anything to write about on the fly.

I guess I could mention that WWE has a house show in Greensboro, North Carolina tonight.

It's a big deal of sorts because the show is being billed as Starrcade, which was the NWA/WCW's biggest shows of the year at Thanksgiving before having to move to Christmastime due to the WWF running its Survivor Series PPVs head-to-head.

Since purchasing the intellectual properties of WCW in 2001, WWE has never used Starrcade so it'll be interesting to see whether tonight was a one-off or not.

The event being held from the Greensboro Coliseum is significant because it's where the first four Starrcades  - from 1983 to 1986 - were held.

This show isn't available on TV or the WWE Network, but I'm sure it'll end up being covered in the wrestling media over the next day or so.

There you go, I didn't do too bad for not having a plan before writing today's post!
