Scratchin' II

If you haven't read the post I published on July 13th, I think you should before reading on. To cut the long story short - for those of you who don't intend to read that post - I bought a £1 scratch card. It turned into £2. Instead of cashing in, I bought another two cards. I won £10. I continued again. This time purchasing ten cards. The story took a pause after I managed to get £12 from the ten cards.

The plan was to wait a month or so before purchasing twelve more cards from the same shop.

I executed this plan the other day....

National Lottery £100,000 Scratch Cards 2017

The results were as follows:

  1. Zilch
  2. £1.00
  3. £1.00
  4. £1.00
  5. Nothing
  6. £2.00
  7. Nothing
  8. Nada
  9. Zero
  10. £10.00!
  11. £1.00
  12. Dud
So, after starting out with one pound all those weeks ago, I have £16.00. I intend to get sixteen more cards when I next cash in.

To be honest - I have a feeling that this should be where I quit, but - like I've repeated since the start - I started with a quid.

And fortune favours the brave.

I think.
