As I have been doing for quite some time, I've been listening to archive radio shows of Jean Shepherd.
If you don't know who he is, Google is your friend!
While listening to one of his shows from the 60s or 70s, he came up with a sense that made me go 'Yes, that's so true!'
It was this:
'One man's celebrity is another man's non-entity'
I don't doubt the sentence meant something back when Shepherd first uttered it, but I strongly believe that it means more now in this age where any random reality star can be classed as a 'celebrity'.
