That's the best I can offer when it comes to how the Cheltenham Festival went for me this week. I might appear crazy writing this, but - even though I did not finish the week in profit - I still did a decent enough job with what I had.
I was betting between £30 to £35 a day and finished the week down by £10.44.
Yesterday was the day that finished me off, though. I had a poor run of luck in a lot of races. I needed to make more than £25.99 to get out of the red. The winners and placed horses could only bring back £15.55.
For the record, here are the horses that placed and won for me on Friday's card:
Placed
2:50 - Barters Hill
4:10 - Paint The Clouds
5:30 - Rock The World
Winners
3:30 - Don Cossack
4:10 - On The Fringe
That's gambling. I had fun waking up each morning, looking through the guides to see what to do and then sharing them here.
I'll give it another go next year.
