I had to deliver on a promise yesterday.
I told my nephew that, the next time he came over, he could watch A Christmas Story again.
He had asked to watch it a couple of days ago. I didn't expect he'd be back here for another fortnight or so. Put it this way, I thought it would be mid-November when it was okay to watch festive movies.
But, then again, it was November 1st and there are Christmas films airing on TV. It's fair game, right?
He has loved the film ever since I introduced it to him last year. I'm doing my thing for the great Jean Shepherd by sharing the movie with the next generation.
Next on the list is A Christmas Story 2. Yep, I have promised.
