Probably the best bet I placed on the 2014/15 season was the one where I wagered on Diego Costa to be the Premier League's top goalscorer.
He didn't win. However, I had placed the bet at Paddy Power and did each-way terms. Him finishing third paid out £23.75. I had bet £10 each-way so I made £3.75 back from my, for want of a better term, investment.
But, that's not all.
Paddy Power had a pre-season offer where customers could get a free £2 bet every time their top goalscorer player hit the net. Costa's twenty goals for Chelsea gave me £40 in free bets.
Free bets that I used wisely and won a bit more from.
I hope the firm does a similar deal in August. I'll be backing Costa again.
