Bettor's Remorse

In yesterday's post, I noted that I had won a few pounds betting on Diego Costa to be the Premier League's top goalscorer for the 2014/15 season.

The bet was each-way, so - as he finished within the top four - I saw a slight return. It would have been better if he had won, but profit is profit.

Anyway, in today's post, I'm going to write about how I blew this money.

Or rather how I may have blown it.

Last weekend, I noticed that Paddy Power had published odds for tonight's WWE Elimination Chamber event. I immediately checked on the price for Kevin Owens to defeat John Cena and liked what I saw.

6/4. Not bad.

I am now having bettor's remorse over the punt. This is mainly due to Owens getting the better of Cena on this past Monday's episode of WWE Raw. It meant that Cena has been left laying two weeks on the trot to build towards this match.

My senses are telling me revenge will be served tonight.

And John Cena will be dishing it up.
