Nearly two months ago, I published a post where I noted a rumour that Dave 'Batista' Bautista was being lined up for a role in the upcoming James Bond movie.
The film was announced at an event yesterday, and Big Dave was revealed as being one of the cast members.
Back in October, I said that I hoped he got the job. I'm obviously now glad that he got it.
It has been quite a year for him what with having returned to WWE in January and then going on to see his performance in Guardians of the Galaxy be critically acclaimed.
I believe filming of the movie - titled Spectre - will begin next week. It's due to be released in late 2015.
