Manning's Record

I know I'm a few days late with this, but I have to dedicate a post to Peyton Manning beating Brett Favre's passing touchdown record in the NFL the other night.

Manning had 506 passing touchdowns going in to Sunday's game against the San Francisco 49ers and was two shy of equalling Favre's record.

The Denver Broncos quarterback tied it.

Then beat it.

And added another.

The scary thing - as has been noted by commentators and fans alike - is the fact that Peyton Manning isn't done.

I would obviously like to see him go on and on, but the day will one day come when he hangs up the boots.

It'll be interesting to see what the number will be when he calls it a day. Furthermore, I'm intrigued to see how long it will take for his record to be toppled.

It's going to be a long wait. I hope.
