Back when I was a teenager, I had two football teams.
Cardiff City were the closest team so I followed them. My main team - however - was Newcastle United.
I had never Newcastle United play but one of my wishes was to one day see them play Cardiff City in the Premier League.
Over twenty years later, the time has come.
Only - I'm not so keen on Newcastle these days.
The team are a shell of their former self. Have been for quite a while.
Cardiff, on the other hand, have risen from the lower leagues to make it to the big time and are the favourites in today's match.
If you had told me in 1994 that Newcastle United would end up being 2/1 when they faced Cardiff City in the Premier League, I would have laughed.
And then asked whoever told me to put a pound on them,
My money is staying in my pocket today. I'd rather see Cardiff win.
