It's good to see that the number eighteen jersey was unretired so that Manning can wear it for his new team.
The shirt number was originally worn by Denver's first quarterback, Frank Tripucka who retired - along with the jersey number - in 1963.
The now eighty-four year old gave his blessing in a phone conversation with Denver's new quarterback yesterday morning.
