I've finally watched ESPN's Manningcast live last night.
Kind of.
As I may have mentioned a few weeks ago, I had been considering purchasing a subscription to NFL GamePass on DAZN. I wasn't committed to the idea, but made a gametime decision on Sunday and took up the mid-season offer.
Part of the package I signed up for allows customers to stream the Monday Night Football games which have Eli and Peyton Manning as alternative commentators/observers.
I had always wanted to watch the Mannings' coverage and was happy to see it advertised as part of one of the GamePass packages.
So.. my first live experience watching it officially came last night. Unfortunately, I was too tired to last. I tapped out after the first quarter. That was bad of me after waiting so long to finally catch it live rather than through clips on social media.
The good news - the entire airing is available to stream on demand.
Ironically, for a game hosted by a couple of quarterbacks, the Eagles beat the Packers 10-7.
