Doubt I'll love it as much as I usually do this time, though. But - it's my favourite month of the year, so I'll give it its flowers. For now.
The reason why I'm getting my September love out of the way today is because, later on tonight, I'll be participating in the NFL Fantasy league I have been a part of for a very long time (even though I don't know any of the people in it!).
I genuinely cannot guess how many years exactly, but I surmise it COULD be year 13. Maybe that's a good omen for me?
Tomorrow's post will likely be my 'review' of how the NFL Fantasy computer reviewed my draft. That's the plan anyway.
Another thing set for tonight is WWE Clash in Paris. I'll have that on as I draft.
As I wrote yesterday, I wore the Texas Longhorns t-shirt for the proper start of the college football season. I was able to watch College Gameday on DAZN. I usually drop in during the final hour or so, but I opted to watch the entire episode yesterday because it was Lee Corso's final episode.
Watching Corso's mascot head picks were a tradition for me, so I wasn't going to miss his swansong pick which was Ohio State to beat.. Texas (yep!).
I also followed a lot of reaction on social media. It does not look like Arch Manning had a good game for what was his first start on the road for his team.
Consider me stunned at the schadenfreude expressed by a lot of people at Manning's performance. I think the only way is up.
I still plan to watch Arch's next game live on Saturday. I'll be rooting for him to overcome the naysayers.
